The 2023 Order of Vaughan Investiture Ceremony took place at Vaughan City Hall on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. The following five individuals were invested with the City of Vaughan's highest civic honour during that ceremony:

Not-for-Profit
In recognition of contributions to Not-for-Profit as a volunteer at numerous community organizations and charities, including the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization, B’nai B’rith Canada, Charities First Ontario and most recently, Reena, advocating for people with diverse abilities.
Wali Mohamed
Not-for-Profit
In recognition of contributions to Not-for-Profit as President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 414 and for more than 30 years of service as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Jumol Royes
Media and Communications
In recognition of contributions to Media and Communications as Director of Communications and Community Engagement at Elevate Media, empowering the voice of Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ community through marketing campaigns and nationwide media content.
Sunder Singh
Equity and Diversity
In recognition of contributions to Equity and Diversity as a lifelong community leader, providing social services to Vaughan residents as Executive Director of the Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women.
Gary Thompson
Public Service
In recognition of contributions to Public Service as a leader and member of numerous community boards and committees, including two terms as a Trustee for Vaughan Public Libraries, member and past Chair of the Police Community Advisory Council of York Region and Chair of the Catholic Community Services Board of York Region.
