Vaughan’s summer recreation programs are a gateway to discovery.

At the heart of Vaughan’s summer recreation programming lies the inspiring notion that summer is all about discovery, offering residents of all ages and abilities the chance to learn, grow and connect with themselves and others in meaningful and many ways. A brushstroke could hold the power of perspective. A dance routine could become the stage for empowerment. Discovery can be found in unexpected and unassuming places, such as in the boundless wonders of nature (try our Outdoor Mindfulness series!), the thrilling rush of athletic achievement (EURO Cup soccer fever, anyone?), and the exhilarating realm of scientific inquiry (we’ve got STEM, coding and robotics, oh my!).

Make a difference in your community
RecAssist is the City’s fee assistance program, which helps subsidize the cost of recreation programs and swim lessons for low-income individuals and families in Vaughan. 100% of donations go towards recipients. Tax receipts will be issued via email for donations of $25 or more.
