Parties & Playdates
Hosting a playdate or party with us is a piece of cake! Parents, let us take some of the party-planning stress off your plate by helping plan your child’s next special occasion! Choose from all-time ‘classics’ or new ‘specialty’ themes. From swimming to acrylic painting – there’s something fun for everyone!
The following parties and playdates are available to book for two hour time blocks. Enjoy one hour of (fun!) specialty instruction delivered by a recreation program instructor, followed by an hour of private festivities in an activity room (cake! presents!).
Cue the confetti! Packages and availability vary by location and are not guaranteed.

Rock n’ Bowl parties on Friday evenings and weekends can be booked online at vaughan.perfectmind.com (click the ‘Facility Bookings’ tab, then ‘Bowling Party Booking’). Bookings are available 7 to 90 days in advance of the two-hour bowling timeblock.
‘Classic’ Parties & Playdates
How We Roll (All ages)
Up to 20 participants including the host’s child.
Save the card games for a rainy day – play a friendly, two-hour game of indoor lawn bowling (bocce) instead. The ‘aim’ is to have fun, but the person who rolls their ball closest to the jack ball gets to call themselves the winner!
Rock n’ Bowl (All ages)
Up to 30 participants including the host’s child.
Have some ‘spare’ time? Strike up some fun at our newly renovated 4-lane, 5-pin bowling alley, featuring advanced pin-setting technology, gutters, automatic bumpers, synthetic lanes and a surround sound speaker system. A sports attendant will be on hand to assist bowlers.
Have a Ball (All ages)
Up to 20 participants including the host’s child.
It’s GAME DAY! Put your game face on and play your favorite sport with friends… from basketball, volleyball, soccer, ball hockey, dodgeball, tennis, badminton…your pick! Our sports attendant will help organize and referee a one-hour sports session of your choice. All you need to do is bring your A-game!
Splash Bash (All ages)
Up to 30 participants including the host’s child.
Water you waiting for? Soak in the fun and enjoy one-hour of pool time with your friends! Two lifeguards will be on duty to ensure your pool party is a safe one.
Note: More than 30 participants? Additional fee required for lifeguard(s) and insurance. All participants must adhere to the City of Vaughan’s Pool Guidelines & Safety Standards.
‘Specialty’ Parties & Playdates
Hip Hop Hooray! (All ages)
Up to 15 participants including the host’s child.
When you feel the beat and you just can’t stop–time to pop, lock and drrrr-op. You and your crew will groove and move through some basic choreography step-by-step. Style code encouraged–come as you are or stage-ready to perform in a little show at the end to showcase your moves.
Like Royals (All ages)
Up to 15 participants including the host’s child.
Hear ye, hear ye! Your royal highness (the guest of honour) requests the presence of all in the kingdom that love to dress up and dance. Incorporating themes and music from Disney classics, the celebration will be filled with enchantment, interactive storytelling, royalty-themed games and a mini dance routine. Royal attire is a must!
Open Canvas (Recommended ages 7+)
Up to 15 participants including the host’s child.
Let your imagination Gogh! You’ll learn to explore mixing colours and how to apply different brushstrokes to create your own great masterpiece.
NEW! Cooking Birthday Parties (Ages 7-15)
The City of Vaughan now offers cooking-themed birthday party packages offered exclusively at Vaughan Studios & Event Space. The packages include a selection of four vibrant themes promising a hands-on, flavourful experience. Designed for kids’ birthday celebrations, these culinary adventures combine fun, learning and tasty treats, providing a memorable and interactive event for kids. Book your party at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Parties must be paid for in full at time of booking.

Start the day off with the themed portion of your party; then 15 minutes prior to your second hour, the party room will be available (when applicable).

Bring your rental contract. Food & beverages are the responsibility of the permit holder and are to be consumed only in the party room. -

All cancellations must occur at least 2 weeks in advance. Less than 2 weeks notice will result in a penalty of 50% of the rental cost; less than 1 week notice will result in 100% penalty of the rental fee. All refunds are subject to a $15 administration fee.
