Have you ever passed by the community centre in your neighbourhood and wondered what’s inside? Learn about the recreational amenities available to you and your family – from pools, arenas and fitness centres to bocce courts, preschool rooms, gourmet teaching kitchens, even a bowling alley!
On Sunday, September 10, from 10 am to 1pm, all community centres and the Vaughan Studios & Event Space will open their doors to FREE activities and informal tours. Residents are invited to discover the many City-operated recreation programs and amenities available in their neighbourhood.

- arts and crafts
- gymnastics and dance
- basketball
- fitness classes (yoga, Zumba)
- STEM
- bocce
- pickleball
- CPR demonstrations by lifeguards
- outdoor trekking pole walks, weather permitting
- game rooms featuring billiards, foosball, air hockey, to Xbox, Wii

Residents who do not yet have an online recreation registration account and sign-up for one on-site will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a $100 recreation gift card that can be used toward the purchase of any program, camp or membership.
