The City of Vaughan hosts a variety of special events including official openings. These events consist of park and facility ground-breakings, official openings as well as ceremonies such as the Key to the City.

Opening of Vaughan's First Dedicated Pickleball Courts

Celebrate with us on Monday, November 25 at 10 a.m.

There’s a new place to play pickleball in Vaughan! The City of Vaughan is officially opening the first set of dedicated pickleball courts at Le Parc Park – and you’re invited to come check them out!

Located at 172 Connie Cres., the park features new pickleball courts with acrylic surfacing, LED court lighting and a shade structure with seating.

Join the official grand opening celebration on Monday, Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. with Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony, official remarks, a DJ and free refreshments.

This local park project adds to the growing list of outdoor spaces the City has created and enhanced for residents to enjoy. The City continues to expand and make improvements to parks, playgrounds, sports fields, sports courts, splashpads, walking paths and more across the community. Additional dedicated pickleball courts will also be added across the city over the next several years to help meet the continued demand for this popular sport.
