Street Lighting
The City of Vaughan maintains more than 26,000 streetlights in the community. City staff regularly drive streets to identify any streetlight outages and repairs.
Repairs usually take two to six weeks and can range from a light bulb replacement to repairing underground infrastructure (buried wires) which typically require further investigation.
Streetlights on unassumed streets, (generally in subdivisions under construction), are maintained by the developer. Please provide as much information as possible and the City will contact the developer to arrange for repairs.
