Addressing road safety on King-Vaughan Road
Do you live in or visit the King-Vaughan Road area? If so, we invite you to learn about our plan for traffic in your neighbourhood.
In response to growing transportation demands and our commitment to monitor and address road safety and sustainable modes of travel, the City of Vaughan is undertaking multiple traffic studies through the Corridor Reviews. A corridor refers to a linear road and its associated land uses.
Following public consultations in Phase 1 and Phase 2, a set of proposed traffic improvements have been developed for King-Vaughan Road, and you’re encouraged to get involved.
As part of the next phase in this study, you can review a detailed map (PDF) focusing on traffic on King-Vaughan Road and provide feedback by emailing the project team at CorridorReviews@vaughan.ca before Thursday, Aug. 15.
These improvements are the result of a comprehensive review of traffic operations in the area and have been carefully designed to address public feedback and the essential and evolving needs of all road users.
