Request for Qualifications Released for new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital

Infrastructure Ontario and Mackenzie Health have issued a request for qualifications to design, build, finance and maintain a new state-of-the-art hospital that will be constructed in Vaughan at Major Mackenzie Dr. and Jane St. This is the first step in the process to select a team with the design and construction experience to deliver a project the size and scope of the new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital.
“Today’s announcement marks an important milestone in the process of realizing the dream of building the Vaughan hospital,” said Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua. “The City of Vaughan is working to prepare the site where the hospital will be built and we look forward to the day when the shovels will go into the ground. This important announcement is the manifestation of what we can achieve through co-operation between government and communities and our commitment to achieving one common goal, and that is to improve healthcare services for our growing city. Vaughan residents deserve a hospital and we are now one step closer."
