Statement on passing of Rob Ford
Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua has issued the following statement.
“On behalf of Council and the residents of Vaughan, I offer my sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Rob Ford, especially his wife Renata and two young children Stephanie and Douglas.Rob Ford had a passion for public service and was dedicated to the people of Toronto and the residents of Etobicoke. He worked tirelessly to champion issues close to his heart.Rob Ford will be remembered as a politician and a public servant who fought for what he believed in. We thank him and remember him.”
