City of Vaughan
Help shape the future of the local tourism industry

What makes Vaughan the place to be? Although the Province of Ontario – including Vaughan – is currently under a stay-at-home order, Tourism Vaughan is preparing for the future … to the day when it is safe to welcome back visitors.

To support this, Tourism Vaughan is developing a Destination Master Plan and is looking for input from the community and past visitors. Feedback is needed to help understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges affecting Vaughan’s tourism industry. The plan will also help shape the vision of what the city of Vaughan’s tourism industry will look like over the next five years.

There are two surveys – one for citizens and one for past visitors. For residents, the City is looking for insight on how they promoted Vaughan to family and friends before the COVID-19 pandemic and what they believe needs to happen to make Vaughan a sustainable tourism destination over the next five years. Visitors can also provide feedback on the types of tourist activities they participated in.

The surveys run until Tuesday, April 20 and are open to Canadian residents only. Visit vaughan.ca/DestinationPlan to complete one. Participants can enter to win a $100 gift card to Vaughan Mills.

Tourism Vaughan Corporation (TVC) is the official destination marketing organization for the city of Vaughan with the mission to market and promote Vaughan as a destination for tourists and business travellers to the city of Vaughan.
