Two new parks are coming to Ward 1
…and you can help design them!
Two new neighbourhood parks are coming to the Nashville-Kleinburg community – and you can help shape their design!
The future Algoma Park will be located at 42 Algoma Dr., and the future Nashville Park will be at 639 Barons St. These two parks will be built less than one kilometre away from each other, which provides the opportunity for the City to build them with complementary amenities.
What would you like to see included in these two parks? How would you like to use and enjoy them? Here’s how you can have your say:
Attend an Open House
A drop-in style Open House is being held for you to learn about what’s planned for the new Algoma Park and new Nashville Park, review and rank proposed park amenities for each, provide feedback and share your ideas. Here are the details:
- Date: Wednesday, June 21
- Time: Anytime between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Location: Cornerstone Community Church, located at 180 Nashville Rd.
Bring your kids! They can have fun at a kid-friendly activity table while you learn about the future parks.
Can’t attend in person? Take the survey!
Following the Open House, an online survey will be made available until Wednesday, July 12 so you can still have your say in the design of the future parks. In this survey, you will be asked to review and rank proposed park amenities, provide your thoughts and share your ideas. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Stay tuned for the survey link!
