WHAT:
The Ward 2 Civic Hero Award will be presented to Raffaela Bozzato for her volunteerism and support of families in the community who have children with autism. Her Spinning for Autism fundraisers have raised $250,000 for the Shining Through Centre for Children with Autism.

The Ward 5 Civic Hero Award will be presented to two Grade 8 students. Twelve-year-old Jenna Zaracoff is being recognized for her efforts to raise awareness and money for Lymphoma Canada through her annual lemonade stand. Zachary Winkler, 13, is being recognized for his annual ‘Do Something Sweet’ event that has raised more than $50,000 for the Hospital for Sick Children.
