QUOTE
“On behalf of Members of Council, we look forward to welcoming the community to Vaughan City Hall on Monday, Nov. 20 to celebrate Diwali. It is a special time for Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist communities to gather, reflect on past achievements and embrace the promise of what lies ahead. Diwali represents the spiritual triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. For those who celebrate, I wish for a Diwali that brings you and your loved ones happiness, prosperity and joy, and the best of luck in the coming year.”
