Vaughan Produces New Safety Videos
The City of Vaughan has produced three public safety videos. The videos are entitled Pull Over For Emergency Vehicles, Wind Warning and Stay Clear Of Power Lines and feature an animated mascot named PrepE the penguin.

The PrepE Emergency Preparedness Campaign was developed in 2011 to inform residents about the importance of being equipped for emergency situations. It encourages the creation of a family or personal emergency plan, identification of home escape routes and meeting places and preparing a 72-hour emergency survival kit. As well, the campaign encourages residents to monitor news and weather reports and be aware of what type of emergency can occur in their community.
