Vaughan Wins Three Awards of Excellence in Communications

The City of Vaughan’s Corporate Communications department has received three APEX 2014 Awards of Excellence, including one for its first comprehensive communications strategy which focuses on delivering citizen-focused two-way communications.
 
The awards are in the categories of Government Campaigns, Programs and Plans for the City of Vaughan’s Corporate Communications Strategy – the Way Forward; Electronic Media – Apps for Corp Comm Connects, a mobile application developed for distributing information internally; and Best Single Blog Post for an interview with a Vaughan war veteran.
 
APEX 2014 – the 26th annual Awards for Publication Excellence – is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites.
