Guidelines on food allergies
- Campers must not share food.
- The City of Vaughan is “nut aware.” All parents are asked to diligently check ingredients and avoid known allergens. The ingredients to look out
for include, but are not limited to, nuts of any type, eggs, milk, etc. - Staff will monitor snacks and lunches if there are known allergies in the camp group.
- All parents share in a responsibility to read food labels and to not send products that contain/may contain traces of peanuts/nuts, or that do not
carry a complete list of ingredients (i.e. bulk food, from on-site bakeries, etc.). Where there is a life-threatening allergy to nuts or other allergens (confirmed by a family physician note), parents will be notified by letter, and requested to avoid sending the identified food. Special lunch screening is conducted. - Campers with items known to cause life-threatening reactions, will be moved to a private area to eat their food. Staff will instruct campers on
proper hand washing techniques for before and after meals.

Amazing experience!
I booked an hour private guide horse riding experience for my partner and I as a birthday present and it was so amazing! Our guide Virginia was very informative, friendly and accommodating! I was lucky enough to have Sue walk with my horse along the trail (thank you so much Sue ❤️). Definitely booking lessons with Virginia in the future!

Great experience where you can walk with your group horseback through a forested trail.
The horses are so unique and have different personalities we enjoyed being with them! They were well looked after and we got a basic lesson before riding. My horse Athena was wonderful this was such a fun memory and a great place!

My horse's name was Latte.
In the beginning I couldn’t lead him to walk on the right track. But, our guide Michael is very professional and patient. We learn from him a lot! So in the end, I got very good bonding with Latte! The trail was very peaceful in the winter and with no wind! We love the whole experience and like the idea that to know more about horses!! No regret!!! Love to come back for sure!

Pathways on Pleasure Valley was an amazing place, and was even more amazing with our guide.
She was incredible; so knowledgeable, so friendly, and made great conversation throughout the trail. We all loved learning more about our horses (and hope Latte, Dotty (and Bonus), and Yukon are doing great; tell them we miss them!). The trail was beautiful as well. Thank you for giving my family and me a great time.
