Outdoor Skating & Shinny Hockey

Outdoor rinks run from December to March, weather permitting.

• All rinks are unsupervised unless otherwise stated in the Outdoor Rinks Supervised Hours schedule below. The use of sticks and pucks is prohibited during supervised hours.
• All outdoor rinks are open daily until 11 p.m., except at Father E. Bulfon Community Centre, which closes daily at 10:30 p.m.
• All rinks are subject to weekly closures for regular maintenance:
  • Wednesdays between 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Vellore Village Community Centre and the skating trail at Cortellucci Square
  • Wednesdays between 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Chancellor, Dufferin Clark and Father E. Bulfon community centres
  • Thursdays between 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Garnet A. Williams Community Centre
• Please be advised that during outdoor skate lessons, the ice is unavailable to the public for recreational skating and shinny hockey.
• Please be advised that during supervised recreational skate times, no hockey sticks, pucks or nets are permitted.
• Unsupervised ice is shared-use for public enjoyment. Hockey sticks & pucks allowed. Pucks are not to be raised above ice surface. No slap shots.
• Please be mindful of your family and other skaters.
