  • Sing along show with Frozen in Time at 4:45pm
  • Music performance by local band Neel Dani at 6:30pm

 

Sunday, February 2nd

  • Emcee Joseph Motiki (known for Reach for the Top and Game Gurus)
  • Shari Tallon at 10:30am
  • Music and storytelling showcase by Echos and Icons Disney at 11am and 1pm
  • Dance performances by Dance Stream at 11:45am and 1:30pm
  • Music performance by local band AV-OX at 12pm
  • Taylor’s Story: A Tribute to Taylor Swift at 2pm

 

Stage will be located in the parking lot of Vellore Village Community Centre.

Free shuttle bus service will be available on February 1 and February 2 from/to the following locations:

  • City Hall – 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr. 
  • Emily Carr Secondary School – 4901 Rutherford Road
  • Vaughan Metropolitan Centre area – 200 Apple Mill Road

Shuttle service will run on the following times:

  • February 1st: 3:00pm – 8:00pm 

  • February 2nd: 9:00am – 4:00pm 

 

Park & Walk is available at the following locations:

  • Fossil Hill Public School – 2 Firenza Road
  • St. Veronica Catholic Elementary School – 171 Maria Antonia Road

 

Accessible Parking is available at the following location:

  • St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School – 2 Davos Road

 

There will be NO PARKING along Villa Royale Avenue or at Vellore Village Community Centre.

Information for Participants (Booths, Food Vendors)

Purchase a vendor spot on Sunday and receive Saturday at no additional cost!

Note: If attending on Saturday, your setup will be outdoors for both Saturday and Sunday.

Participants - What do you need to provide before the deadline of Wednesday, January 15, 2025?

  1. Participant Agreement Form for Winterfest
  2. Payment
    1. $550 + HST for food vendors and businesses, $250 + HST for not-for-profit organizations
    2. Pay online with credit card OR by cheque (see details on the agreement form)
  3. A Certificate of Insurance naming the Corporation of the City of Vaughan as an additional insured - use the City's template
    1. If you are unable to get a Certificate of Insurance, email vaughancelebrates@vaughan.ca to find out how to purchase event insurance

Food vendors also need to provide:

  1. The York Region Vendor Application Form sent directly to York Region Health Department and provided to Events Staff
    1. Form is found under "Vendors": Food Vendors - York Region Application
  2. Any applicable licences (restaurant licence, refreshment vehicle licence, etc.)
    1. Refreshment vehicles must provide a valid City of Vaughan Refreshment Vehicle Licence
    2. Refreshment vehicles that do not have a valid City of Vaughan Refreshment Vehicle Licence must apply for one through the City of Vaughan (additional fees apply)
