Speak to the project team

Attend one of two pop-ups to speak directly with the project team:

• Monday, Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.), in the main hallway. 

• Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the North Thornhill Community Centre (300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.), in the main hallway.

Phase 2

Online Survey

An online survey was available from May 8 to June 14, 2024 for residents to have their say. Thank you to those who participated. 

Greenspace Forum

Hosted online over Zoom, join the project team and a panel of park professionals held a free 90-minute discussion on May 30 to discuss topics on new trends, well-being, inclusivity, and creative placemaking in our parks and open space system. Thank you to those who attended.  

Open Houses

Two Open Houses were held. Thank you to those who attended and provided valuable feedback to the project team. The schedule was as follows:

• June 6, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.), in the main floor cafetorium. 

• June 11, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at North Thornhill Community Centre (300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.), in the Activity Room A and B.

Phase 1

Online Survey

An online survey and interactive map were be available from Sept. 11 to Oct. 31, 2023 for residents to have their say. Thank you to those who participated. 

Community walk

The City held a community walk on Oct. 14 through Marita Payne Park and adjacent areas. Thank you to those who attended.

A total of 10 pop-ups were held across Vaughan from Sept. 26 to Oct. 11. The schedule was as follows:
