Responsibilities:

1.       Delivers the City of Vaughan Aquafitness Program.

2.       Responsible to ensure program activities are safe and enjoyable for program participants.

3.       Uses appropriate tools and techniques to motivate program participants.

4.       Assist in the set up and take down of the facility.

5.       Assist in creating a positive experience.

6.       Familiar with the City of Vaughan aquatic emergency procedures for instructional programs. 

Qualifications and requirements

  1. 16 years of age.
  2. Police Vulnerable Sector Check issues within one year and renewed every 3 years.
  3. Standard First Aid & CPR-C current within 3 years.
  4. The City of Vaughan Aquafitness Instructor certification (or other recognized equivalency eg. CALA, WaterART, Speedo, YMCA)
