Advancing public safety
The first in a series
of meetings on community safety is coming to Ward 1 on Feb. 23
Public safety is a leading priority for
the City of Vaughan and many steps are being taken to ensure this community
continues to be a safe place for
everyone who lives and works here or comes for a visit.
In the coming months,
the City will hold a series of meetings on community safety to provide updates
in each ward and hear about the issues that matter to you.
These meetings will
include presentations by York
Regional Police, the City’s By-law and Compliance, Licensing and Permit
Services team, Members of Council and other key stakeholders.
This series will kick
off in Ward 1 on the following dates:

7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Church (180 Nashville Rd.)
Maple

The dates of upcoming
ward sessions will be announced as details are available. If you are unable to
attend the ward meetings, a final one will be held at Vaughan City Hall (2141
Major Mackenzie Dr.) on Thursday, June 15 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Input received at these
meetings will help inform future action on community safety in Vaughan.
