Voting Day for the 2022 Municipal Election is being held on Monday, Oct. 24 in Vaughan. Do you know if you are registered to vote? To find out if you are on the Voters’ List, visit the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation’s (MPAC) online tool at voterlookup.ca. Ensure your information is accurate and up to date, and, if necessary, make changes and additions for yourself or others in your household.

You must be on the Voters’ List to vote in the upcoming 2022 Municipal Election. Once you ensure you are on the list and your information is correct, a unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be generated and sent to you by mail in September. This PIN will allow you to vote online during the advance vote, which runs from Thursday, Oct. 6 until Thursday, Oct. 20. In-person voting will take place on Monday, Oct. 24.

Why vote?

The results from a municipal election determine who will govern a city and school board. Your voice matters in the decision-making process. Voting ensures your values, goals and ideas are reflected in the people who represent you, which allows you to help shape the future of where you live.
