Collaboration at the local level is crucial in maintaining business stability and building resilience. To support this, the City of Vaughan’s Economic Development department is hosting a Vaughan Business-to-Business (B2B) Industrial Tour on Wednesday, June 15 to allow local businesses to get to know their neighbouring companies and learn and collaborate with one another.
The Vaughan B2B: Industrial Tour aims to provide learning and networking opportunities for Vaughan-based companies by matching two companies with similar interests and needs. Participating businesses must have 20 employees or more and operate within the industrial facility sector, such as a warehouse, factory or distribution centre.
Registration to attend will be open until Friday, May 20, and up to 30 businesses will be matched on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is free and will include a continental breakfast. Interested participants can visit vaughanbusiness.ca/B2BTour to register.
The paired companies will take turns touring each other’s facilities to share operational best practices, policies and business challenges. Companies will also be encouraged to discuss potential pilot projects and business or partnership opportunities.
Business networking events, such as the Vaughan B2B: Industrial Tour, continue to make a meaningful difference by providing programming and engagement opportunities that position the city and its business community to prosper and grow together. It also showcases Vaughan as a leader in economic activity in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario and Canada and highlights its entrepreneurial spirit as outlined in the 2018-2022 Term of Council Service Excellence Strategic Plan.
