Celebrating Small Business Week in Vaughan
Join the Vaughan Business and Entrepreneurship Centre for events and programming from Oct. 21 to Oct. 25!
Small businesses are the backbone of Vaughan’s economy, and account for more than 87 per cent of all businesses in the city. To recognize their immeasurable impact, today, the City of Vaughan’s Vaughan Business and Entrepreneurship Centre (VBEC) celebrated the start of Small Business Week with the annual Kickoff Event, in partnership with the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce (VCC) and presented by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).
Representatives from the VCC and other dignitaries participated in the festivities at Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Vaughan. The event included a morning of networking, an address by the VCC and a panel discussion on Preparing for the Future of Small Business.
Small Business Week will continue with a variety of in-person and virtual events and workshops exploring concepts of diversity and inclusion.
