QUOTE
“We have a proud hockey tradition in Vaughan. In our city, it is more than just a
sport; it is a unifying force and has become a distinct part of our city’s
culture. Today’s event marks the beginning of city-wide celebrations to rally our
shared passion for the game. We are excited to see the Vaughan Metropolitan
Centre (VMC) transform into an ultimate hockey fan zone in January. It is the
ideal place to host the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour. This is a unique
opportunity to bring the community together and celebrate hockey. We look
forward to welcoming hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Slone to the City of Vaughan.”
