Cheer on Team Canada at Vaughan City Hall!

The City is hosting viewing parties for Team Canada’s FIFA World Cup games
 

In Vaughan, soccer is more than just a favourite pastime – it is a tradition for fans of all ages and has become a distinct part of the community’s culture. In fact, Vaughan has one of the highest soccer participation rates in all of Canada. Now, you’re invited to come and show your soccer pride while rooting for Team Canada in the FIFA World Cup! 

The City of Vaughan will be hosting viewing parties at Vaughan City Hall for all of Team Canada’s games. Get your jerseys, bring your friends and help cheer on Team Canada to victory! The first three games are set to take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.  

Stay tuned for details on additional viewing parties as Team Canada moves through the tournament. The City will also be hosting a viewing party at City Hall for the final game on Sunday, Dec. 18. 

Vaughan is home to three FIFA-certified artificial turf soccer fields, including two at the 900-acre North Maple Regional Park, the City's most significant park development.
