Attend a virtual information session or complete the survey, open until Feb. 7

The City of Vaughan’s Corridor Reviews are currently underway and you are encouraged to get involved. In addition to the upcoming information sessions, the City has launched an online survey, open until Tuesday, Feb. 7. You can provide your feedback to help identify any additional road safety opportunities for pedestrians, cyclists, transit and vehicular road users in six key urban and rural corridors in Vaughan. The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete.

What is a corridor?
A corridor refers to a linear road and its associated land uses. This can include a main roadway and any sidewalks, bike lanes, greenspace and/or bus stops located along that roadway.

What areas are being reviewed?
As part of MoveSmart, the City is assessing traffic operations along these six municipal roads in Vaughan:

  • Beverley Glen Boulevard (Bathurst Street to Dufferin Street)
  • King-Vaughan Road (Albion-Vaughan Road to Cold Creek Road, Huntington Road to Pine Valley Drive)
  • Kipling Avenue (King-Vaughan Road to Teston Road)
  • Pine Valley Drive (King-Vaughan Road to Teston Road)
  • Pleasant Ridge Avenue (Rutherford Road to Langstaff Road)
  • Valley Vista Drive (Bathurst Street to Dufferin Street)

You can visit vaughan.ca/CorridorReviews to review maps of the study areas.

These reviews will enable City staff to make recommendations on short- and long-term implementation plans to address any specific issues identified in these areas, which will be presented to Council for approval.

There’s still time to register for an upcoming virtual information session:

If you are unable to attend a live session, presentation materials will be available at vaughan.ca/CorridorReviews following each meeting.
