The City offers drop-in activities, game rooms and summer jobs

Are your kids looking for things to do, but aren’t able to commit to a set schedule? Maybe they are starting to think about a rewarding summer job? The City of Vaughan is here to help!

Drop-in programs for youth
Did you know that drop-in activities for youth ages 10 to 17 years old are offered at community centres across the city? Whether your kids are looking to play basketball or use the game rooms – featuring billiards, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, Xbox and Wii – there  is something fun for everyone to enjoy.

Youth memberships are available for the school year and are valid until Friday, June 17. The cost for a membership is $16 and single visits can also be purchased for $5.25. To purchase a youth membership visit your local community centre or email RecCSD@vaughan.ca

Drop-in recreational schedules are available online at vaughan.perfectmind.com. Pre-registration and pre-payment are available for convenience one week in advance of the scheduled activity, with limited spots for walk-ins. To cancel your drop-in reservation online, view the ‘Schedules’ section of your client profile. Then, simply switch from ‘Calendar View’ to ‘List View’ and select ‘Actions’ to begin. A full credit/refund will be issued without penalty.

Is your preferred time block full? Add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will receive an email notification with the option to accept and register or decline, directly from your online account. If your spot has not been accepted within 24 hours of receiving the email, it will be made available to the next person on the waitlist. Make sure your current email address is up to date on your profile.
