Explore Vaughan’s outdoors on National Take A Hike Day
Today, the City of
Vaughan invites you to take a hike – literally! It’s National Take a Hike Day,
which means it’s the perfect time to put on your walking boots, grab a water
bottle and some trail mix and step into the great outdoors. The City’s many
trails and neighbourhood walks offer the best glimpse into the beautiful nature
within Vaughan.
Share your outdoor adventures with your friends! If you take pictures while enjoying Vaughan’s trails, post about your good times on social media using the hashtag #PlayVaughanLocal.
Choose from 12 different trails throughout the city, great for all ages and abilities: Jersey Creek Neighbourhood Walk, Mackenzie Glen Neighbourhood Walk, Maple Nature Reserve Nature Walk, Marita Payne Neighbourhood Walk, North Maple Regional Park Nature Walk, Peter Rupert Neighbourhood Walk, Rainbow Creek Neighbourhood Walk, Riverwalk Neighbourhood Walk, Sonoma Heights Neighbourhood Walk, Sugarbush Nature Walk, Vellore Neighbourhood Walk and William Granger Greenway Nature Walk.
