Swimming
Looking to get back in the water? The good news is Vaughan’s indoor pools reopened on Wednesday, July 21, in line with the Provincial Roadmap to Reopening, for recreational and length swimming as well as aquafitness. Pre-registration is required at vaughan.perfectmind.com. Employment opportunities
If you are ready for a challenging, rewarding and motivating career, then this web section is right for you. For the City, its greatest resource is its staff – people who work around the clock to deliver customer service to residents, businesses and one another. To support this team, the City employs industry-leading workplace best-practices which resulted in being named one of the Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2021. Current employment opportunities are always posted online.

Waste
Collection schedules, how to purchase bins and tags, and proper setout requirements – this is just a snapshot of the resources available in the waste section. There’s also a link to the handy “what goes where” app where you can search by item. For instance, did you know single use and rechargeable batteries need to be taken to a hazardous waste drop-off location?
