Extended Hours at Vaughan Community Centres in Response to Extreme Heat
The City of Vaughan will extend the hours of operation at a number of community centres today – Sept. 10 – in response to the extreme heat.
Community centre hours have been extended to 11 p.m. at five facilities across the City. Community centres are air-conditioned and are equipped with water fountains.
The extended hours will continue until the humidex advisory has been lifted.

- Vellore Village Community Centre, 1 Villa Royale Ave.
The City’s splash pads, Thornhill Outdoor Pool, Dufferin Clark Pool, Father Ermanno Bulfon Pool and Vellore Village Pool are closed. All other City swimming pools are available during regular hours. Please click here for swim schedules.
