City facilities and services will operate on alternate schedules over the
holidays.
Vaughan City Hall and Joint Operations Centre closures
- Monday, Dec. 25 through Monday, Jan. 1.
- Facilities will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
- The cashier at Vaughan City Hall will be closed from Dec. 22 at 12 noon through to Monday, Jan. 1 and resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
Vaughan community centres
- Visit the Holiday Central page on vaughan.ca/recreation or contact your local community centre for holiday activity schedules.
- All community centres will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan.1.
- The following community centres will be open on Sunday, Dec. 24 and Sunday, Dec. 31 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., unless otherwise noted:
- Al Palladini Community Centre
- Father E. Bulfon Community Centre (8 a.m. to noon)
- Garnet A. Williams Community Centre
- Maple Community Centre
- North Thornhill Community Centre
- Vellore Village Community Centre
- The following community centres will be open on Tuesday, Dec. 26 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

Vaughan Animal Services
- Open Saturday, Dec. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Closed Sunday, Dec. 24 through Tuesday, Dec. 26.
- Regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. resume on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
- Open Saturday, Dec. 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Closed Sunday, Dec. 31 and Monday, Jan. 1.
Vaughan Public Libraries’ closures
- All libraries will be closed from Sunday, Dec. 24 through Tuesday, Dec. 26 with regular business hours on Wednesday, Dec. 27 to Saturday, Dec. 30.
- All libraries will be closed from Sunday, Dec. 31 through Monday, Jan. 1 and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
Waste collection information
- Waste collection will not be affected.
- Christmas trees will be collected from Jan. 9 to Jan. 19 on your regular collection day.

For information about holiday hours and City programs and services, please call Access Vaughan at 905-832-2281. The contact centre will be closed from Monday, Dec. 25 through Monday, Jan. 1 with the exception of Thursday, Dec. 28 and Friday, Dec. 29 when it will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
