About MOBYSS
MOBYSS provides
residents aged 12-25 years compassionate, youth-centred health services such as
counselling, support and referrals from a mental health worker, peer support
specialist and nurse practitioner. No appointments or health card are necessary.
The bus travels around York Region to make it easier for youth to access
services.
MOBYSS
began as a pilot project at Dufferin Clark Community Centre on Sept. 8, 2016
and dozens of youth have since used the service. The initiative supports the City’s
mission to provide Service Excellence to residents, making physical and mental
healthcare accessible to vulnerable youth in our community.
