Annual celebration offers arts and cultural programming in May

The annual InSpirit Festival is going virtual this year to allow citizens to celebrate the city of Vaughan’s cultural mosaic from the safety of home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Held each May, InSpirit offers arts and cultural programming that fosters community participation and pride. The festival also recognizes the month of May as Asian Heritage Month in Ontario. Asian Heritage Month is an opportunity for all Canadians to learn about the many achievements and contributions of Canadians of Asian descent who have done so much to make Canada the amazing country it is today. The theme for Asian Heritage Month 2020 is Asian Canadians: United in Diversity.
