With a broad scope of skill-development opportunities, the Talent City Vaughan program aims to strengthen the city’s workforce by encouraging organizations and employers to invest in local talent. In 2022, Talent City Vaughan disbursed funding to seven social and community service organizations that hosted training programs for more than 140 Vaughan residents.
The program offers financial support – micro-grants of up to $10,000 – to external organizations that provide opportunities for residents or employees of Vaughan-based businesses to enhance their skill sets and is designed to deliver training that meets the needs of the city’s growing economy.
