​A virtual hiring event for part-time program instructors is taking place on Feb. 11

Spring is a time for new beginnings and the City of Vaughan is getting ready for an exciting lineup of recreation programs – and that includes hiring new staff to lead the sessions! Join us on Saturday, Feb. 11 for a virtual hiring event to fill positions for part-time program instructors at local community centres.

Interviews will be held for part-time instructors to teach a diverse range of recreation programs during the spring session, starting in March 2023. In particular, individuals ages 16 years of age or older with specialized skills in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

  • Fitness
  • Gymnastics
  • Skating  
To be considered, register for our ‘Recreation Program Virtual Hiring Event’ at vaughan.perfectmind.com by end of day on Friday, Feb. 3. Selected candidates will be contacted to book an online 20-minute interview. Compensation for positions ranges from $15.50 to $19.85 per hour.

The City is also looking for lifeguards to work daytime shifts at pools across Vaughan. Qualified lifeguards are encouraged to register at vaughan.perfectmind.com for one upcoming in-water interview:

  • Dufferin Clark Pool: Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Woodbridge Pool: Thursday, Jan. 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
