Wouldn’t it be handy to have your waste collection schedule available on your smartphone or tablet? Well, you’re in luck! The Recycle Coach app allows you to view your collection schedule, search what waste items go where and get notified when it’s time to put your waste at the curb – and much more! Download it today from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Want more details? Here’s a breakdown of what the app offers:

Sort your waste like a pro

You’ll no longer have to guess what item goes where – simply refer to Recycle Coach for all you need to know about blue box recycling, green bin organics, garbage and more in Vaughan. Type the name of an item in the What Goes Where search bar and the tool will pull up information on how to dispose of it, along with details on curbside collection requirements.

If you search “yogurt container,” for example, you will learn that it belongs in the blue box, and it should be empty and rinsed of food residue.

Have your collection schedule at your fingertips

With Recycle Coach, convenience is the name of the game. You’ll have your personalized collection schedule available right on your smart device, including the option to enable notifications to send you an alert when it’s your collection day. The app also includes reminders for the 7 a.m. set-out time and what types of bins and bags are accepted at the curb. And if you need to purchase a new blue box or green bin from the City of Vaughan, it’s got you covered with all the information you need!
