Make way for the next generation of Vaughan firefighters
On July 30, 2018, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service hosts its Female Firefighter Camp, with events scheduled all week long.

- July 30 at 8:30 a.m. - Camp orientation and gear training at Joint Operations Centre, 2800 Rutherford Rd., Vaughan
- July 31 at 9 a.m. - How to put out a fire scenario at Canada’s Wonderland at 1 Canada's Wonderland Dr., Vaughan
- Aug. 1 at 9 a.m. - Fitness and team building exercises at Sky Zone Trampoline Park, 2839 Rutherford Rd., Vaughan
- Aug. 2 at 9 a.m. - How to capture a loose reptile at Reptilia Zoo, 2501 Rutherford Rd., Vaughan
- Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. - Graduation ceremony at Joint Operations Centre, 2800 Rutherford Rd., Vaughan
WHAT:
Female Firefighter Camp in Vaughan will begin the week of July 30, 2018. Camp attendees will experience a variety of firefighter duties and training activities including gear and equipment demos, fire scenarios, and a firefighter graduation ceremony at the end of the week celebrating a job well done.
