Making memories permanent in the City of Vaughan
Do you have a loved one or a special occasion you
would like to commemorate? Or maybe you would simply like to enhance your
community park or trail? The City of Vaughan’s Tree and Bench Dedication Program
provides an opportunity for you to beautify your
neighbourhood while creating a permanent and physical memory.
You can donate a bench or a tree with a plaque and pay tribute to someone or recognize events such as:
- Anniversaries
- Birthdays
- Celebrations of life
- Milestones
Or you can do it to enhance your neighbourhood!
To apply for the program, please complete the appropriate application form below and submit it to the Parks, Forestry and Horticulture Operations department at parks@vaughan.ca.
Applications are accepted year-round. However, installation is seasonal. For more information, visit the City’s Tree and Bench Dedication webpage.
This program contributes to the City’s commitment to Environmental Stewardship, a priority in the 2018-2022 Term of Council Service Excellence Strategic Plan.
