Mayor Bevilacqua condemns hate crime
Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua has issued the following statement.
“I
have recently become aware that the incident at Woodbridge College last week
extended beyond anti-Semitism and also targeted the black and LGBTQ
communities. This hateful and cowardly vandalism is completely unacceptable. To
reiterate, I strongly condemn all acts of racism and homophobia. Any form of discrimination
will not be tolerated in our city.”
