City of Vaughan
Golfers came together for a round of golf at one of the City’s best courses yesterday to raise thousands of dollars for not-for-profit and community organizations. The Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua Annual Charity Golf Classic was held at the Eagles Nest Golf Club on July 7.

The proceeds from this annual event and the Mayor’s Gala go to support the more than 100 community groups that provide essential services to the people of Vaughan. Embodying a spirit of generosity, businesses that support this event have helped organizations that serve youth, seniors, people with special needs, women’s centres, special education schools and sports groups.

QUOTE

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in this year’s golf tournament. Year after year this event is supported by our incredible community so that we can continue to help people who need it most. The organizations that benefit from the funds raised through this event are truly the heartbeat of our City and by working together, we will continue to move forward without leaving anyone behind. I want to extend my thanks as well to PowerStream President and CEO Brian Bentz and for once again lending his leadership and commitment to the role of tournament chair.”
