Though the summer heat may feel never-ending, fall is on its way. Before the weather gets cooler, take advantage of Vaughan’s 20 splashpads on any day of the week. Splashpads are open daily until Monday, Sept. 6 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., then open weekends only from Saturday, Sept. 11 until Sunday, Oct. 3.

Citizens are reminded that splashpads are not supervised or sanitized and require everyone to take precautions. Please follow public safety protocols from York Region Public Health:
- Wash your hands thoroughly and often.
- Practice respiratory etiquette.
- Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
- Wear a face mask or covering when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
- Get vaccinated.
- Download the COVID-Alert app.
- Monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19 and seek assessment and testing if necessary.
