About the skate trail

This outdoor trail is a 600-foot loop located behind the Carrville Community Centre. The community centre remains closed. Details for the official grand opening of the Carrville Community Centre will be released later. Access to the washroom and change rooms is available to skaters. Please follow directional signage onsite for parking and rink locations.

Hours and trail maintenance

Weather permitting, the skate trail will be open daily until 11 p.m. and closed for regular maintenance on Thursdays between 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Outdoor ice rinks are subject to unplanned closures due to varying environmental factors such as temperature, wind, ice thickness and precipitation (rain or snow). Staff assess rink ice surfaces throughout the day and if safety concerns arise during these assessments, the rink will be promptly closed to ensure everyone’s safety.

For the enjoyment and safety of all skaters, everyone is asked to follow the City’s Skating Rink Guidelines (PDF). Rinks are unsupervised unless otherwise stated in the recreational skating and shinny hockey schedule
