Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park launches Wednesday, June 16


The City of Vaughan’s 27th annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons will kick off virtually in June. The series will run at
vaughan.ca/concerts on select Wednesdays from June 16 to July 28.

This year’s schedule will feature professional entertainment for all ages with genres like disco, pop, oldies, reggae and rock. The launch of the series will feature multi-Platinum and multiple JUNO award nominated iconic band Platinum Blonde. The full schedule is below:
 
  • Wednesday, June 16: Platinum Blonde
  • Wednesday, June 23: Face 2 Face – Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John
  • Wednesday, July 7: Exodus – Tribute to Bob Marley
  • Wednesday, July 14: Disco Fever
  • Wednesday, July 21: Shania Twin – Tribute to Shania Twain
  • Wednesday, July 28: Jersey Seasons – Tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons
Hosting Concerts in the Park virtually will allow Vaughan residents to mark this popular and much-anticipated event safely from the comfort of their homes. Concerts will be streamed online from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at vaughan.ca/concerts.
