Register now for Vaughan’s fall virtual programs

Keep your body and mind sharp while staying safe at home this fall. On Tuesday, Oct. 12, the City of Vaughan’s fall virtual recreation programs will begin via Zoom. Register now at vaughan.perfectmind.com.

There is something for everyone to enjoy. Explore the following classes and programs to learn how to:
  • engineer bridges and tunnels.
  • decorate cupcakes and cook international cuisines.
  • design your own website or Roblox game.
  • play chess and LEGO.
  • paint an acrylic masterpiece.
  • learn how to write a resume and practice for a job interview.
  • take a jab at karate.
  • develop your LinkedIn brand or become a Google Docs guru.
  • get kindergarten-ready by exploring the fundamentals of math, reading, writing and science.
  • discover music, dance and life skills programs for individuals with special needs.

Prepared supply kits for specialty items are included and will be made available for curbside pick-up at a Vaughan community centre.

Virtual programs run once a week for 45 minutes to 1.5 hours (with the exception of workshops). Internet access and a computer with audio and video capabilities is required. A Zoom link to the program will be provided in the email confirmation upon registering. A parent or guardian’s assistance may be required.
