Community is invited to the 18th Annual Vaughan Business Expo
 
Vaughan is one of the fastest growing communities in Canada with over 12,000 businesses that employ more than 223,000 people. The City’s economic growth has been transformational in the last 10 years with 60,000 jobs being created and major city-building initiatives being realized. Professionals who are looking to network with leading business experts, share ideas and help build their business can attend the 18th Annual Vaughan Business Expo presented by BMO on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Terrace Banquet Centre.
 
The Expo is an opportunity to speak with local industry leaders, build relationships and discuss new and bold ideas. In addition to the exhibition, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua will be the keynote speaker focusing on the theme of Your Story. Your Brand. Your Vaughan.
 
Attendees will be able to visit four different featured zones, each focusing on different industries, including:
  • Innovators Zone presented by My Blue Umbrella
    • Connect with technology-focused firms building the smart cities of tomorrow
  • York Region Food Movers, Makers, and Shakers Zone presented by Mentor Works Ltd.
    • Get a taste of the food and advanced manufacturing industry and other key supply chain players in York Region
  • Culture Creators Zone presented by Arcadia Live! Productions
    • Network with creative entrepreneurs and firms in industries such as media, design, and visual arts who are impacting and shaping culture in Vaughan
  • Business Builders Zone presented by Ablii by nanopay
    • Find solution providers and business-to-business firms to help take your business to the next level
Three different Office Hours will be taking place throughout the day providing opportunities to speak with experts, get advice and learn from industry leaders in importing and exporting, marketing and branding, and funding and finance. This will provide participants the chance to learn about different businesses and allow for targeted networking.
 
Additionally, there is ZONE2041 presented by Millennial’s Choice. This feature zone in the Expo’s lobby will highlight Vaughan’s future with an opportunity for interactive engagement.
