Enjoy many fun-filled activities for the whole family

Are you looking for something fun to do in the city of Vaughan during the March Break? From Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, the City is offering many activities, camps and drop-in programs the entire family will enjoy. 

Drop-in activities:

March Break camps at Vaughan community centres, for ages four to 16:
  • Aqua Adventures – swim instruction, water sports (snorkeling, underwater hockey, boating), recreational swim, arts and crafts, games and sports
  • Aquasquirt – water safety, relay races, sing songs and cooperative games
  • Aquatic Leaders of Tomorrow – swimming stroke improvement, lifesaving techniques, rescue situations, plus games and learning activities 
  • Art Zone School – experiment with charcoal, clay, oil pastels, paint and mixed media
  • Learn to Love Hockey – basic stickhandling, passing, shooting and stride control
  • Splash into Sports – interval training, lifesaving, diving and water polo, plus basketball and soccer
  • Teens Fitness – trainer-led cardio and weight training at Vaughan Fitness Centres

Vaughan City Playhouse:
  • The Berenstain Bears on Stage: a musical adaptation of the renowned children’s series is coming to the City Playhouse Theatre on Friday, March 20. Tickets available at vaughan.ca/CityPlayhouse.
Vaughan community centres:
  • Community centres in Vaughan will operate on normal business hours. 
  • For March Break activity schedules, view the holiday activity schedules or contact your local community centre. 
Vaughan Public Libraries:
  • Library branches in Vaughan will operate on normal business hours. A list of locations and hours is available at vaughanpl.info.
  • Register for March Break programs and events at the library including a week-long STEAM camp plus free themed activities from Science Fun, Robot Workshop,
  • Bilingual Play, Go Green!, Puppet Show, Knights and Castles and Creation Station.
