Safety Expo Coming to Vaughan Mills this Weekend

The City of Vaughan is presenting the 2014 Vaughan Safety Expo on Saturday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Vaughan Mills.

This event is designed to provide citizens with information from a number of organizations dedicated to keeping the community safe. Participants include the City’s Parks and Forestry, Emergency Planning, and Bylaw and Compliance teams, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service, York Regional Police, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, BOATsmart!, and the Red Cross.
 
In recognition of the impact of the December ice storm, City staff will also be giving out free white spruce seedlings at the expo to attendees who sign up to receive the City’s eNewsletter.
