City offering online workshops for entrepreneurial learning

Small Business Week is going virtual this October in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In partnership with the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce, ventureLAB, YSpace, Futurpreneur Canada and COSTI, the City will be offering five virtual workshops, networking opportunities and tools to help small businesses and entrepreneurs in their continued successes.

This programming will run virtually during the week of Oct. 19. There will be different events and workshops exploring the concepts of business resiliency, business planning, marketing and finance as they relate to entrepreneurship and starting or owning a business.

The theme for the 2020 Small Business Week is Forging the Way Forward, which will shine a spotlight on Canadian entrepreneurs’ courage, resiliency and ability to adapt to an unprecedented economic period during COVID-19.
