Small Business Week is a nationally recognized celebration of the contributions local entrepreneurs and business owners make to the economy. This year, the City of Vaughan will be going virtual to provide access to the latest programs and networking opportunities from Monday, Oct. 18 to Friday, Oct. 22.

In partnership with the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce, ventureLAB, YSpace/York University, COSTI and York Regional Police, the City will be offering virtual workshops, networking opportunities and tools to help small businesses and entrepreneurs in their continued successes.

Throughout the week, there will be a variety of different events and workshops exploring the concepts of business resiliency, business planning, marketing and finance as they relate to entrepreneurship and starting or owning a business.

This year’s theme will focus on seizing the opportunity to build the way forward, exploring how to overcome current challenges, identifying opportunities for growth and highlighting the local supports available to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
